- 2 avocados sliced or cubed
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1/2 tsp. course salt
- 12 to 14 leaves of cilantro
- 1/2 of a large tomato
- 1/2 of a lime (juice)
- 2oz. of onions
- hot sauce (optional)
Steps:
- place the 2 avocados either sliced or cubed into the blender
- dice garlic and put into blender
- chop the onion and put into blender
- roll the whole lime before cutting, then cut the lime in half
- use only one half of the cut lime and squeeze the juice into the blender
- add salt
- wash the 12 to 14 cilantro leaves
- place the cilantro leaves into the blender
- (optional: add hot sauce)
- blend until the guacamole has a thick consistency (or blend for short time for chunky guacamole)
There is a whole assortment of things that can be done with Guacamole. Guacamole can be eaten with chips or by itself. Also, the kind of chips can either complement or destroy the savory flavor of the avocado. A saltier kind of chip would not be good with this recipe because salt was already added into the recipe. Chips that have a minimal amount of salt can make the person taste the true guacamole instead of the chips and guacamole.
