Great Guacamole

Ingredients:
  • 2 avocados sliced or cubed
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. course salt
  • 12 to 14 leaves of cilantro
  • 1/2 of a large tomato
  • 1/2 of a lime (juice)
  • 2oz. of onions
  • hot sauce (optional)
Steps:
  1. place the 2 avocados either sliced or cubed into the blender
  2. dice garlic and put into blender
  3. chop the onion and put into blender
  4. roll the whole lime before cutting, then cut the lime in half
  5. use only one half of the cut lime and squeeze the juice into the blender
  6. add salt
  7. wash the 12 to 14 cilantro leaves
  8. place the cilantro leaves into the blender
  9. (optional: add hot sauce)
  10. blend until the guacamole has a thick consistency (or blend for short time for chunky guacamole)
There is a whole assortment of things that can be done with Guacamole. Guacamole can be eaten with chips or by itself. Also, the kind of chips can either complement or destroy the savory flavor of the avocado. A saltier kind of chip would not be good with this recipe because salt was already added into the recipe. Chips that have a minimal amount of salt can make the person taste the true guacamole instead of the chips and guacamole. Another favorite that I put guacamole on is a burrito or taco to calm the spiciness. Don't forget to hit the follow button.

Quick Baked Ziti

This recipe is my favorite when my whole family is around the dinner table. I really like the top part when the cheese is all melted on top of the ziti. My dad taught me how to do this simple recipe when I get hungry. My dad has made food for me all the time and has created all his dishes with the mind of that people are coming over to eat. My dad says, “It’s always better to have food left over with everyone filled than to have no food left and people are still hungry, to make food is more of a passion than to just make something to eat”.

Ingredients
  • Whole made sauce with san marzano tomatoes Cento Brand
  • 1lb. ziti macaroni
  • 3 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1/2 of a onion minced
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • fresh mozzarella from Brooklyn
  • Reggio Parmesan grated cheese
Steps
  1. preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. boil 1lb. ziti macaroni in salted water
  3. add some sauce in baking pan to cover bottom
  4. add some ziti in the baking pan
  5. add some grated parmesan cheese and mozzarella
  6. repeat steps 2-4 two to three more times
  7. place in oven and watch until the cheese on top melts
